2. SCOPE OF THESE TERMS
These Terms apply to purchases made through the Veyrona Labs online store. By submitting an order, the Customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to review these Terms before entering into the contract.
Where the Customer qualifies as a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable Slovak and European Union law remain unaffected by these Terms.
3. NATURE AND INTENDED PURPOSE OF PRODUCTS
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, Veyrona Labs products are supplied solely for laboratory, analytical, research or collection purposes.
Products offered as research materials are not intended for human consumption or administration and are not offered as medicines, food products, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices unless a particular product is expressly and lawfully identified otherwise.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession and intended use of a product is lawful in the jurisdiction in which the product will be received or used.
4. PRODUCT INFORMATION AND BATCH DOCUMENTATION
Veyrona Labs aims to provide accurate product descriptions and, where applicable, batch-specific analytical documentation. Laboratory results relate only to the batch or sample identified in the relevant analytical report.
Analytical documentation does not constitute medical advice, approval for human use, or a representation that a product is suitable for any therapeutic, diagnostic or other use not expressly stated by Veyrona Labs.
5. ORDERS AND CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
Products displayed in the online store may be added to the shopping cart and ordered through the checkout process. Before submitting an order, the Customer has the opportunity to review and correct the order details.
The Customer submits an order by activating the final order button indicating that the order entails an obligation to pay. Receipt of the order will be confirmed electronically.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where fulfilment would be unlawful, impossible, affected by an obvious pricing or technical error, or where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent or abusive activity. Where payment has already been received for a cancelled order, the relevant amount will be refunded.
6. PRICES AND PAYMENT
The price applicable to an order is the price displayed in the online store at the time the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Zonic s. r. o. is currently not registered for VAT. Any applicable delivery costs or other charges are displayed during checkout before the Customer submits the order.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment service providers and may additionally be subject to their respective terms.
7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Available delivery methods, destinations and applicable shipping charges are displayed in the online store or during checkout.
Any delivery period stated on the website is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise. Delays may occur due to carriers, customs procedures, public holidays, exceptional events or other circumstances outside the Seller’s reasonable control.
Where tracking is available, tracking information will normally be provided electronically after dispatch.
8. CUSTOMER DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer must provide complete and accurate delivery information and ensure that the shipment can be received at the delivery address or selected collection point.
If a shipment is returned because of an incorrect address, failure to collect the shipment, refusal of delivery without legal grounds or another circumstance attributable to the Customer, reasonable costs directly associated with the failed delivery and any subsequent re-dispatch may be charged to the Customer to the extent permitted by law.
9. INSPECTION, DAMAGE AND INCORRECT ORDERS
Customers are encouraged to inspect their shipment promptly after delivery. If a shipment arrives damaged, incomplete or contains an incorrect product, the Customer should contact support@veyronalabs.com as soon as reasonably possible and provide the order number together with photographs or other information reasonably required to assess the issue.
Failure to report an issue immediately does not remove any mandatory statutory rights that the Customer may have.
10. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND CLAIMS
The Seller is responsible for defects to the extent required by applicable law. A Customer who believes that a product is defective should contact support@veyronalabs.com and provide sufficient information to identify the order, product, batch and alleged defect.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, resolution may include replacement, refund, price reduction or another remedy required or agreed in the particular case.
Customers should not return products without first contacting Veyrona Labs and receiving return instructions.
11. RETURNS
Due to the specific nature of the products offered by Veyrona Labs, products may only be returned where they are defective or where a return is otherwise required by mandatory applicable law or expressly agreed by the Seller.
No provision of these Terms excludes or limits a consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal where that right applies.
12. CONSUMER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If the Customer is a consumer and no statutory exception applies, the Customer generally has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the date determined by applicable consumer protection law.
For contracts for the sale of goods, this period generally begins when the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods, subject to the specific rules applicable to orders delivered in several parts or separately.
The right of withdrawal does not apply in circumstances in which applicable law provides an exception. This may include, among other statutory cases, certain goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly and certain sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the protective seal has been broken after delivery.
Whether a statutory exception applies will depend on the nature and condition of the particular product and the applicable law. Veyrona Labs does not rely on the mere classification of a product as a peptide or research product as automatically excluding statutory withdrawal rights.
13. HOW TO WITHDRAW FROM A CONTRACT
Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, the consumer may exercise it by making an unequivocal statement communicating the decision to withdraw from the contract.
The notice may be sent to support@veyronalabs.com or submitted using the withdrawal function made available through the Veyrona Labs online interface.
The consumer may also use the model withdrawal form made available by Veyrona Labs, although use of the model form is not mandatory.
Where required by applicable law, the online withdrawal function will remain clearly visible and continuously accessible during the applicable withdrawal period and an electronic confirmation will be provided after submission.
14. CONSEQUENCES OF WITHDRAWAL
Where a consumer validly withdraws from a contract, payments will be refunded in accordance with applicable law. Unless otherwise required by law, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is expressly agreed without additional cost to the consumer.
The Seller may withhold reimbursement for goods until the goods have been received back or until the consumer provides evidence that they have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first, where permitted by law.
The consumer generally bears the direct cost of returning goods unless the Seller has agreed otherwise or applicable law provides otherwise.
15. REFUNDS
A refund may arise from a valid statutory withdrawal, an accepted claim concerning defective or incorrect goods, cancellation by the Seller, non-delivery for which the Seller is responsible, or another agreement between the Seller and the Customer.
A request for a refund does not itself establish entitlement to a refund. Each request will be assessed according to these Terms and applicable law.
16. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer must use and handle products only in accordance with their stated intended purpose, product information and applicable law.
The Customer must not rely on information provided by Veyrona Labs as medical advice or as a recommendation concerning diagnosis, treatment, prevention of disease or human administration of a research product.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory rights of consumers.
To the extent permitted by law, the Seller is not responsible for loss arising from use of a product contrary to its stated intended purpose, product information, applicable law or these Terms.
For Customers acting in the course of business, the Seller shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent such limitation is permitted by applicable law.
18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the Veyrona Labs name, branding, website design, original text, graphics and other original website materials are owned by or licensed to the Seller and may not be reproduced or commercially exploited without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.
19. PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law and the Veyrona Labs Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy provides further information concerning the purposes and legal bases of processing, recipients, retention and data subject rights.
20. COMPLAINTS AND ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
A consumer may contact Veyrona Labs at support@veyronalabs.com with any complaint or request for remedy.
If a consumer is not satisfied with the manner in which the Seller has handled a request for remedy or believes that the Seller has infringed the consumer’s rights, the consumer may have the right to seek alternative dispute resolution before the competent alternative dispute resolution entity in accordance with applicable Slovak law.
Information concerning competent consumer authorities and alternative dispute resolution will be provided in accordance with the law applicable at the time of the dispute.
21. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and contractual relationships with the Seller are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to consumers under the law of their country of habitual residence.
22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
The Seller may amend these Terms where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes in law, business operations, payment methods, delivery arrangements or the online store. The version applicable to an order is the version made available to the Customer when the relevant contract is concluded.
23. FINAL PROVISIONS
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected to the extent permitted by law.
Mandatory provisions of applicable law prevail over any conflicting provision of these Terms.
